To reach the exceptionally high standard of performance we demanded of AthenaGold it was necessary to go beyond the restrictions of Perl as a programming language. To attain the stringent specs and the ultimate results of a superior software, we have integrated several different languages working in harmony with each other to power AthenaGold.
While AthenaGold is cross-platform and will run on both Unix and Windows servers, we would prefer to see it installed on Unix servers.
If you are licensing AthenaGold software to be used for mall creation, your hosting package should be a minimum of 400 MB site. We recommend the Unix Gold Plan (server must have PHP, Perl, MySQL & Image Magic installed). We have instituted a special pricing structure for licensees of AthenaGold software who need a 400 meg hosting package.
